A signed agreement is not an operational boundary.
Contracts are written to form an agreement. Account teams need a shorter view that answers the daily question: is this request included, limited, excluded or commercially undecided?
Quantities matter
“Social media support” is difficult to enforce. “Eight LinkedIn posts, one newsletter and two revision rounds” gives the team a boundary it can compare with a real request.
Write the client assumptions
Late content, fragmented feedback and extra approvers consume delivery capacity. State the response times, source-material requirements and approval owner the price assumes.
Decide how additions move
Every boundary needs a calm change policy: charge, trade or defer before work starts. The template creates operational drafting support, not a substitute for a reviewed contract.
