Terms of use

These Terms form a contract between the business using the service (“Agency”, “you”) and Barry King, a sole trader trading as MarginRail (“MarginRail”, “we”, “us”). MarginRail is a trading name, not a separate legal entity. The service is offered only to businesses and people acting for a business. Service questions can be sent to support@marginrail.app.

Decision-support service

MarginRail compares supplied commercial text and returns decision support. Classifications may be incomplete or incorrect and the service is provided as-is.

Human commercial judgment required

The AI report and workspace analysis do not determine legal scope, provide legal advice or replace a signed contract. An authorised person must review every commercial decision and client response.

Permitted submissions

You must have authority to submit the text and must remove credentials, special-category personal data and information that is unnecessary for the analysis. Automated abuse and attempts to exhaust service limits are prohibited.

Estimates and commercial records

Value ranges are calculated from agency-entered hours, assumptions and rates. They are not guarantees of effort, price, profit or recovery. Client approval links record a commercial response and version history but are not an electronic-signature service or a substitute for contractual approval requirements.

Integrations

You must have authority to configure an integration and send or receive the selected data. You are responsible for the security of one-time tokens and signing secrets, the destination endpoint, and the terms and availability of any third-party workflow.

Free trial

A new Agency workspace includes a 14-day free trial. No payment card is required, the trial does not automatically become a paid subscription and workspace write access pauses when the trial expires unless the owner chooses to subscribe.

Subscription

The Agency subscription costs £99 per month or £990 per year, as selected by the workspace owner at checkout, and begins only when checkout is completed. MarginRail is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to these prices. It renews for the selected monthly or annual billing period until cancelled. The owner can manage or cancel the subscription through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. A first payment failure receives a seven-day grace period. If payment remains unresolved, the workspace becomes read-only until billing is restored.

Workspace export and closure

The workspace owner can export operational workspace records through Settings. A verified owner can request workspace closure and deletion through privacy@marginrail.app. Some data may remain temporarily in provider recovery history or where retention is required by law.

Governing law

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
